Studio Photography
Editorial portraits, fashion and personal branding, made on a set designed before the first frame.

Portraiture with presence.
Every strong studio image starts as a room someone designed: a grand piano under an arched ceiling, florals framing a face, a plaster niche and a cream trench. The set, the light and the wardrobe are decided before the shutter, so the session is spent making pictures, not looking for them.
Sessions are directed from start to finish. Roo picked up the camera after years on the other side of it, and the direction on set comes from knowing exactly how that feels.
